Hi, I’m Robert! I live in Arnhem with my girlfriend Femke. When I’m not working, I enjoy a nice meal with a good glass of wine, or I’ll sit out on a terrace for something refreshing. To stay fit and clear my head, I do a lot of sport: on the golf course, at the gym, or out running or walking. I also regularly go to festivals or go on holiday, though I’m not one to turn down an evening at home with a good TV series or film either. I’m naturally curious and engaged, and I love striking up a conversation, so please feel free to get to know me.
I bring that curiosity and commitment to my role as Performance Manager at Traffic Today. There wasn’t one specific reason for choosing Traffic Today : the company and its way of working simply align well with how I view the profession myself – personally and with commitment, but always focused on results. I get a lot of energy from the data-driven side of the job, from advising, brainstorming with clients and identifying the right requirements. For me, this role is a great step towards empowering our specialists, so that together we can deliver the best results for our clients.
My path into marketing wasn’t exactly straightforward. I started by training as a video editor and cameraman, and then worked for a while in the film and photography industry. I soon realised I was missing the bigger picture: how do you use visual content strategically for marketing, branding and positioning?
After completing my studies, I undertook an internship at a marketing agency in Arnhem, where I continued to work as an online marketer for the first few years. To gain experience on the brand side as well, I then made the move to KPI Solutions. There, I worked on a wide range of projects, from lead generation, advertising and trade fairs to branding, design and brand awareness. With this broad background and my passion for data and consultancy, I am now looking forward to working with you with great enthusiasm.
